Cattleman Steve Holden and his men, disguising themselves as outlaws, successfully plunder a wagon train. Ranchers Virgil Trent and his daughter Gail join forces to stop the raids. When the townspeople discover that someone is tipping off the gang, Trent volunteers to infiltrate the outlaws. He convinces Steve to switch sides and protect the ranchers. Steve soon uncovers the true leader of the bandits, Sidney Padgett, and in a fierce battle, Steve's men emerge victorious.
