A young man, Sher Singh, leaves his family in Punjab to pursue a new life in Mumbai, where he falls in love with Nisha. When his mother asks him to return, he promises to come back in four days, but upon his return, he discovers that his sister is set to marry the Zamindar's son, and he is expected to marry the Zamindar's daughter, Sweety. As his dual identities, Sher Singh and Shekhar, become entangled, he finds himself torn between his love for Nisha and his family obligations. The situation becomes more complicated when a lookalike claiming to be Shekhar appears, leaving everyone wondering what is real and what is just an illusion.
