Sara pursues her dream of becoming a prima ballerina at Juilliard, befriending roommates Zoe and Miles, who teach hip-hop. She's mentored by the demanding Monique Delacroix, who pushes her to excel. Sara's passion for hip-hop is reignited when Miles, a composer, asks for her help with a dance project, and she falls for him. As she's assigned to perform in Giselle, she's torn between ballet technique and her newfound creative spark.
