Mob boss Primo Sparazza has a contract out on Buddy "Aces" Israel, a magician who has agreed to testify against the Vegas mob. The FBI puts Aces in protective custody, and a group of bounty hunters, thugs, and double-crossing mobsters converge on Lake Tahoe to collect the reward.
