Stand Up and Fight

A worn-down plantation owner, crippled by debt, makes the painful decision to auction off his estate and liberate his enslaved workers, then sets off towards Cumberland in pursuit of a fresh start and a means to support himself.

In 1844, Blake Cantrell, a plantation owner with a troubled past, is forced to sell his estate and free his slaves due to financial struggles. He sets out for Cumberland, seeking a new life and employment, and finds work with a stagecoach line run by Boss Starkey and owned by Susan Griffith. As he navigates this new chapter, Cantrell must confront his own morality and join the fight for African-American freedom.
