Three individuals with troubled pasts, a recovering addict and a sex worker, team up with a seasoned friend to embark on a thrilling road trip from Berlin to Wisconsin, driven by their shared quest for redemption and a fresh start.

Bruno Stroszek, a former prisoner, struggles to rebuild his life as a street musician in Germany. After befriending a down-on-her-luck prostitute, Eva, they flee to Wisconsin with their eccentric neighbor, Scheitz, seeking a fresh start.
