Superstar in a Housedress is a documentary that explores the life and legend of Jackie Curtis, a Warhol transvestite superstar and multi-talented artist. The film features interviews with friends and colleagues, including Harvey Fierstein, Ellen Stewart, John Vaccaro, Paul Morrissey, Holly Woodlawn, and Joe Dallesandro, as well as never-before-seen footage of Jackie's performances and stage plays. The documentary also includes the music of Paul Serrato and the photography of Jack Mitchell, and is narrated by Lily Tomlin.
