In the "Flockheed Eggcraft Factory", hens labor to produce eggs for the war effort, but their focus is disrupted by a charismatic rooster singing like Frank Sinatra. The supervisor, Porky, rushes to investigate and soon finds himself auditioning for a new crooner, with a cast of caricatures, including Al Jolson, Jimmy Durante, and Cab Calloway. Ultimately, he meets a Bing Crosby-like character, known as "The Old Groaner", who helps to overwhelm egg production.
