Taking Woodstock

In the summer of 1969, a young man's unintentional actions sparked a groundbreaking music festival in the Catskill Mountains, revolutionizing the rock 'n' roll landscape.

In 1969, Elliot Tiber, a struggling interior designer, moves back to his family's Catskills motel to help his parents, but the bank is threatening to foreclose. He sees an opportunity when a neighboring town cancels a music festival permit and convinces the producers to hold the event at his neighbor's farm instead. The festival attracts half a million people, transforming Elliot's life and American culture.
