Indiana Jones and his family venture to 20th century Russia, where a chain of unfortunate events strains the relationship between Indy and his disapproving father.

Henry Jones, Jr. embarks on a journey to Russia with his family in the early 1900s. After a series of mishaps, Indy runs away into the Russian countryside, where he meets the cantankerous author Leo Tolstoy, who shares his disdain for humanity. Together, they cross the countryside, encountering colorful Gypsies and avoiding Imperial Cossack troops.
