In the spring of 2009, two Norwegian citizens, Joshua French and Tjostolv Moland, ventured into Eastern Congo, only to face a series of events that would become known as the "Congo-case". After their driver's sudden death, they spent several nights on the run in the Congolese jungle before being caught and sentenced to death for espionage and murder.
