In 1943, a team of six Allied soldiers, disguised as fishermen, embark on a perilous mission to destroy powerful German cannons on Navarone Island, which are sinking Allied vessels. Led by Maj. Roy Franklin, the team consists of experienced mountain climber Capt. Keith Mallory, engineer CPO 'Butcher' Brown, explosive expert Cpl. John Anthony Miller, and Greek assassin Spyros Pappadimos, who was born in Navarone.
