In this Western, a man returns to his ranch only to discover it's about to be sold and an old feud is still simmering. The rival Carson seeks to claim the property and resorts to murder to get it. When Carson's plan fails, he kills a key figure in the feud and frames the rancher for the crime. As the protagonist sits in jail, his friends and lawyer work to uncover the truth and clear his name.
