Holly is dreading Christmas as her brother's family is coming over, and she's still reeling from her recent breakup with Ted. Her work as a pro bono lawyer has also been unrewarding, especially after a failed custody case. Feeling down, Holly's friend Diane promises to send her a great Christmas present.
