As his business begins to fail, Remy retreats to his summer home in Saratoga, where he finds himself surrounded by a cast of characters, including a dead-end-kid orphan, his daughter's state trooper fiancé, and the bodies of four gangsters who had planned to ambush him. The house also contains a hidden stash of half a million dollars, just enough to save Remy's business. The ensuing chaos and confusion drive the plot.
