At Desert Airport, a group of daring pilots risk their lives to deliver mail despite treacherous weather conditions. After a pilot's fatal crash, airport manager Mike Miller is forced to work with the reckless but skilled Duke Talbot. When another pilot dies in a storm, Talbot abandons his grieving wife and takes on the final leg of the mail run. After Miller's own crash, he's left stranded on a mountain, fighting to survive as rescue attempts fail.
