In a Swiss Alpine resort, two men, Clive Norton and Humpy Miller, compete for the attention of Mary, the landlord's daughter. After contracting chicken pox, they are cared for by Miss Cartwright, Humpy's former nanny, who proves to be a formidable and authoritarian figure. The two men join forces to resist her strict rule and also contend with a suitor from Greece who is also vying for Mary's affections.
