In this western, a man impersonates Billy the Kid to sabotage Ellen Goreham's construction project, but the real Billy sets out to uncover the imposter's identity after discovering the wanted posters and learning of the murders attributed to him. With the help of his sidekick Fuzzy, Billy must evade both the imposter and his former friend Jeff, now a Marshal, who is also determined to capture him.
