In the gripping drama, Zainub Khan, a woman on death row, shares her family's tragic story. Born in Lahore, she's the daughter of Hakim Sayed Hashmutallah Khan, who had seven daughters with his wife Suraiya. The eighth child, Saifullah, was born with both male and female characteristics, and Hashmutallah wanted to hide it, but Suraiya insisted on keeping it a secret. Saifullah was home-schooled, but later faced molestation and a life of struggle. He was eventually killed by his own father, who embezzled funds from a mosque to bribe the police.
