Atif Aslam, a renowned Pakistani musician, was born in Wazirabad, Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan, and later received his education in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
As he embarked on his musical journey, Atif Aslam collaborated with others, resulting in the creation of the song "Aadat". This iconic track gained immense popularity on various online music platforms in Pakistan, and its airplay was extensive on prominent Pakistani radio stations such as FM100 and FM105. The music video for "Aadat" was shot in a single day within a warehouse in Karachi.
However, due to personal issues within the band, Atif Aslam decided to part ways with Jal and pursue a solo career.
Atif Aslam's soulful voice transcended geographical borders and reached India when Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt approached him to feature "Woh Lamhey" in the soundtrack of his new film, Zeher. This milestone marked the beginning of Atif Aslam's widespread recognition, and his music eventually spread across the subcontinent, resonating with audiences and radio stations throughout.
