Bill Walton seeks revenge for his father's death and the theft of their ranch by riding into town to find his uncle's aid. He gets caught up in a world of horse racing and corruption, and must confront the gambler Matt Daggett, who is hiding a dark secret. Along the way, Bill meets Jerri Marshall and helps her father, John Grant, who is wrongly accused of a crime. Bill eventually discovers Daggett's treachery and must confront him in a final showdown.
