Johnny Weissmuller, a government agent, is dispatched to a jungle mine to investigate a series of cobalt thefts. He uncovers a plot by the mine's owner, John King, and his ward, Luora, who are secretly selling the valuable mineral to a foreign government. As Weissmuller digs deeper, he and John's brother, Arnold King, are captured by the native thieves, who intend to make them their next victims.
