Two elementary school students, David and Lyle, form an unlikely friendship in 1960s Spokane, Washington. David, 11, is wheelchair-bound due to muscular dystrophy, while Lyle, also 11, has Attention Deficit Disorder. Despite their differences, they embark on a series of adventures to overcome mortality and discover the true meaning of friendship, loyalty, and miracles.
