Aspiring Harlem rapper Rob escapes to a father he never knew, finding solace in Reggaeton, a fusion of hip-hop, reggae, and Latin rhythms. In Puerto Rico, the birthplace of Reggaeton, Rob and his step-brother Javi chase their dream of becoming stars, joined by dancer C.C.
