A priceless diamond mask, stolen from Africa centuries ago, resurfaces in Texas in the possession of Dr. Dye Oppenheimer. As she readies its exhibition, a geologist and anthropology professor team up with her friend to unravel the mask's mysterious past, only to uncover a tangled web of deceit.
