Going to Kansas City

An exchange student from Finland, Mikko, discovers his plans have changed when he's sent to live on a farm outside Kansas City, far from the city center. Despite the initial culture shock, he finds excitement in his new surroundings, particularly when he falls for the sheriff's daughter. However, their budding romance is threatened when the sheriff disapproves, and things take a dark turn when a trip to a local bar ends in disaster, revealing hidden tensions and hatred among the characters.
