The Bowery Boys accidentally enter the detective business to solve the disappearance of a beautiful girl, Eleanor Williams. They are hired by someone claiming to be her sister and soon discover Eleanor's long-lost husband is returning from South America. The case leads them to a pseudo-psychic doctor, who was involved in blackmail and linked to a syndicate chief.
