A team of students is sent to Littletown to research the life of Frederick Bartholomew, a former German rocket scientist with a dark past. As part of their project, they must build replicas of the V2 rockets. However, their investigation takes a disturbing turn when they encounter two brothers with unsettling characteristics: Mabuser, an unlicensed doctor with a paranoid delusion of brain parasites, and Gary, a shy and lonely psychopath with a fascination for Tarot cards and necrophilia. Meanwhile, their father, dressed in a Richard Nixon mask, prowls the highways at night, shrouded in mystery.
