I Want to Go Home background

I Want to Go Home

A rough-around-the-edges American visitor stumbles through a series of comedic mishaps as he tries to make sense of European customs.

A cantankerous American cartoonist, Joey Wellman, travels to Paris to visit his estranged daughter Elsie, a student at the university. Despite initial culture shock, Joey begins to appreciate French culture after being invited to a weekend gathering at Professor Christian Gauthier's mother's house, where he meets other Americans and Elsie.
