In the Pecos River country, a ruthless profiteer named Alexander Stiles claims a million acres of land, but a rancher named Clayborn stands in his way. When Clayborn refuses to sell, Stiles' hired guns kill him and his wife, but their young son John survives and grows up to become a lawyer determined to bring Stiles to justice. As John Clay, he faces off against Stiles, who has stolen land and water from the poor cattlemen, and ultimately defeats him in a showdown, recovering the stolen land and restoring justice to the community.
