In a worn-down Arizona diner, The Armadillo Cafe, a weary traveler named Sarah seeks refuge from the desert sun. However, her rest is short-lived as she becomes embroiled in the lives of the diner's eccentric and troubled family, including Billie, her wary owner, and her unstable relatives. As Sarah's curiosity gets the better of her, she finds herself tied up and subjected to a series of mind games and physical and mental torments at the hands of Billie's family members, who are desperate to uncover her connection to them and the dark secrets they keep.
