The story follows Stan Butler, a bus driver who agrees to marry Suzy, much to the dismay of his future in-laws. However, when Arthur, Suzy's son, is fired, Stan proposes that Arthur learn to drive a bus to replace his income. Arthur surprisingly succeeds, and Stan blackmails the Depot Manager to give him a job driving the new Special Tours Bus. But things take a turn when the inspector takes Stan on a trial run to the Windsor Safari Park, threatening to ruin the plan.
