Charlie Garrison, a drug dealer, is murdered by a zombie while selling a canister of Trioxyin-5. His nephew Julian finds two more canisters and, with his girlfriend Jenny and friend Cody, decides to analyze and profit from the chemical. They create a new drug, "Z", which they sell on campus, but it has a deadly side effect: it turns users into zombies.
