Rose of Cimarron background

Rose of Cimarron

A Native American-raised woman embarks on a perilous journey to unravel the mystery surrounding the brutal slaughter of her adoptive family.

A red-haired girl, raised by the Cherokee Indians after her family's massacre, has developed a strong sense of identity and a deep-seated mistrust of whites. When her Indian parents are brutally killed by outlaws, she seeks justice but soon realizes she can't do it alone. With reluctance, she partners with a white marshal, Hollister, earning the nickname "Rose of Cimarron" in the process.
