A teenage computer genius and self-proclaimed "nose for trouble" at Bergerac High, Cyrus Nollen, is smitten with his friend Roxy. When Roxy expresses interest in a new classmate, Chris, Cyrus helps Chris woo Roxy by sending witty texts, eventually taking over Chris's social media to make him seem more impressive. As Roxy falls for the illusion, Cyrus must keep up the charade to avoid being caught, living vicariously through Chris and revealing his true feelings.
