June, an ambitious associate editor, is sent home to her parents' house for Christmas by her demanding boss. Her mission is to convince famous children's author Sally Wells to join their publishing company, with a job as an editor awaiting her success. Upon her return, June reconnects with her childhood friend Blake, with whom she had a history of friendly competition. In a playful challenge, Blake wishes that June would have to say yes to every Christmas activity, which initially seems harmless.
