Sayonara

Major Lloyd Gruver, a decorated pilot from the Korean War, is stationed in Japan, where he strongly opposes marriages between American troops and Japanese women. However, his views are put to the test when he falls in love with a Japanese woman, leading to a clash with the US Air Force and Japanese cultural norms.
