Two warlords send assassins to kill a retired master swordsman, but the attempt is thwarted by a group of kung fu students from a nearby school. The warlords then arrive to deal with the swordsman and the students, leading to a series of battles as the school's most senior students seek to avenge their master's death and kill the warlords.
