In May 1917, 16-year-old Indiana Jones becomes entangled in an international spy plot in Barcelona. He lands a job at Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes with the help of Pablo Picasso and concocts a plan to forge a love letter, making it seem the German cultural attaché is having an affair with the Countess of Toledo. Later that year, Indy is reassigned to Prague, where he awaits an important phone call, only to find his hotel room lacks a phone, leading him to navigate the challenges of Czech bureaucracy at the Ministry of Telephones.
