Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, agents of U.N.C.L.E., are sent to retrieve Dr. Kharmusi's latest invention, a death-ray called the thermal prism. They enlist the help of notorious safe cracker Luther Sebastian, who has his own ambitions regarding the weapon. However, Luther double-crosses U.N.C.L.E. and steals the thermal prism. Solo infiltrates the Third Way, a mystical and religious group seeking world-domination, to track down Luther and the thermal prism.
