A former aristocrat turned taxi driver, Paul Gallard, is given a chance to turn his fortunes around by his fellow White Russians. He travels to Monte Carlo, where he wins big at the casino, breaking the bank. However, the casino's attempt to recoup their losses by sending Helen Berkeley to manipulate Paul is thwarted when she finds herself falling in love with him.
