The Third Man

In post-war Vienna, a city divided by the victorious allies, an unemployed pulp fiction writer named Holly Martins arrives in search of a new opportunity. He's invited by an old school friend, Harry Lime, who promises him a job, but upon arrival, Martins learns that Lime has died in a mysterious traffic accident. As Martins investigates the circumstances surrounding Lime's death, he uncovers a web of inconsistencies and deceit, leading him to unravel the truth about his friend's demise.
