A birthday gift box arrives for Donald, containing three surprises. He unwraps each gift, embarking on a new adventure. The first is a movie projector showing animated films about birds in South America, featuring a penguin and a gaucho boy. Next, a pop-up book takes him to Brazil, where he meets Jose Carioca and joins in a lively mix of animation and live action with native Brazilians. Finally, a piñata filled with fun brings together Donald, Panchito, and a magic serape, as they sing and dance across Mexico.
