Eleven-year-old Modulf, a self-proclaimed superhero, is constantly bullied by the toughest kids at school. He's okay with being the target, believing that if he's the one being bullied, others won't be. However, the arrival of new neighbor Lise, who disagrees with Modulf's philosophy, disrupts the status quo. Lise's actions create chaos, and she becomes the one who needs to be rescued. Modulf is compelled to confront his own situation and take action.
