Michael Chambers, a former gambler, returns to his hometown to reconnect with his family and friends, as well as his estranged wife. He lands a job as an armored car driver with his mother's new husband and tries to win back his wife's affections. However, his plans are complicated when he and his wife are caught by her boyfriend, and Michael is forced to orchestrate a payroll heist to escape the situation.
