A timid boot-boy is unwittingly transformed into a hero after being hypnotized and branded with a cryptic German master plan on his backside, leading him on a perilous adventure to save England in 1914.

Frankie Howerd plays a timid boot-boy who becomes a reluctant soldier after being hypnotized to protect England in 1914. Under hypnosis, he gets the German master plan tattooed on his backside and embarks on a mission to deliver it to British headquarters, pursued by the Germans.
