Vigilante Terror

In the town of Pinetop, a group of masked vigilantes, led by saloon owner Brett, are terrorizing the residents. They are secretly working with mine manager Gene Smith and have accused Matt Taylor, a father, of stealing gold. Tack Hamlin arrives in town and teams up with his old friend Strummer Jones to fight for justice. They save a man from being lynched and Tack is appointed sheriff by the mayor. Later, they rescue Taylor from being hanged by the vigilantes and uncover evidence that points to the real gold thieves, Brewer and his gang. However, Brett falsely accuses Tack and Strummer of the crime and the vigilantes gather to hang them.
