Wealthy John Sinclair, with a terminal illness, takes a vacation and meets nurse Joan Martin, whom he proposes to and leaves his fortune to. After six months, John seemingly recovers and falls in love with Joan, but she leaves him due to loneliness. John's rival, Fred, arrives and is murdered by John in a clever plot.
