In this sequel to "Weekend at Bernie's," Larry and Richard, two accountants turned programmers, are fired by their insurance company after being framed for Bernie's theft of $2 million. The duo sets out to clear their names and find the stolen cash, which they believe is hidden in the Virgin Islands. Meanwhile, a voodoo queen is hired by the cartel behind Bernie's theft to raise him from the dead and lead them to the loot. Chaos ensues as Larry, Richard, and Bernie's reanimated corpse navigate the island in search of the money, pursued by company security and the cartel's henchmen.
