The story follows Farsighted Falcon, a Dakota chief, who seeks refuge with his wife Blue Hair and two warriors in the Black Hills, aiming to join the Cheyenne tribe. However, they are ambushed by bandit Jim Bashan and his gang, and Blue Hair is fatally shot. Farsighted Falcon pursues Bashan to Tanglewood, where he befriends Sheriff Patterson and works together to thwart a robbery. Despite their efforts, the townspeople, now under the control of mining boss Harrington, turn against the Indians, leading to a tragic outcome for Farsighted Falcon.
